Thanks for stopping by PreparedtoCook.com! This is my little corner of the internet devoted to tips, tricks, skills and tools to help you be prepared to cook a meal for you and your family no matter what the world throws at you.
I believe that in stressful times, there is nothing more calming than knowing that you don’t have to worry about your next meal, or next month (or 6) of meals. If you wake up and the power is out, and a storm is raging, you should still be able to start your day with your morning cup of coffee. If your local grocer is out of stock, you don’t have to panic.
And the fact is, there is nothing complicated about it. I won’t say it is easy, but it is simple. And I want to help you . Here you will find the small & mundane things I have learned in my journey to being prepared to cook. I am by no means an expert. But I am an enthusiastic amateur. I’ve found success with many systems and ideas as times have gotten crazier. I am hoping you may find an idea or two here that you can use, that will help you be more resilient.
I am happy you are joining me on this path. I promise, with a little thought and effort, even if you can’t quite get out of the storm, you might be able to keep to the eye.
If you want to, you can find me on Flote or drop me an email at contact@preparedtocook.com.
